Test Notes:

-- The opening disclaimer regarding various content warnings (ex. high difficulty, photosensitive epilepsy, etc.) appears only for a few seconds before shifting immediately to the main menu. The player will either have to take a screenshot or use an external source to view the entire text. Reviewing a video walkthrough for the PS5 depicting the disclaimer also appears to suggest part of the text is misaligned and nearly overlaps other portions, too.

-- In-game control adjustments aren't saved between attempts so it's recommended to make such changes from the main menu before starting a new session. Otherwise, the player will have to continuously redo those alterations during each run as necessary.

-- Enemy A.I. can get stuck on doorways and various environmental obstacles. Rag-doll effects can also sometimes awkwardly lead to bodies clinging to their surroundings upon defeat, such as door frames, desks and so on.

-- Spelling errors can occasionally appear (ex. protagonist dialogue when observing the abrupt 'AMBER alert' on the television in the wall safe house, etc.)

-- During quick-time attacks, the game briefly freezes for a few seconds as it processes the counter input from the player.

-- The "K.I.A." trophy, which concerns getting killed by a maniac, appears to be slightly bugged in benefit of the player. Despite surviving the optional quick-time attack from the street note near the beginning of the game, the aforementioned accolade still unlocked alongside the "Close Combat" trophy which involves staying alive during such an encounter.

-- During two abandoned attempts related to using the 'Intense Flashlight' cheat code, triggering the previously-mentioned quick-time attack from the street note caused the handgun to turn invisible. Although the player could still use the 'iron sights' animation and the weapon appears to fire, restarting the game from the main menu was done each time to fix the issue. Ignoring the note in subsequent runs serves as a good method to circumvent the problem.

Content Completed:
-- Beaten on standard difficulty across four attempts with default settings. All trophies unlocked for 100% platinum status. Control adjustments and all four "cheat code" options were briefly sampled in unfinished runs. "Hardcore" mode and any additional post-completion content were left untested for reference.

Additional Notes:
-- Although the main experience appears to be complete in its original form, the end sequence features a piece of wall graffiti that states "We will be back! See you in Part 2." A quick search on the game's Steam page (dated November 1st, 2025) appears to suggest two apparent pieces of future content: (1) 'Part 2' is a sequel under the name "Redstream" being sold separately as its own installment while (2) "Amber Alert" will also be receiving a "full overhaul" in celebration of the aforementioned project promising "upgraded graphics, improved lighting, and a brand-new ragdoll system for more brutal, realistic reactions." If so, this physical release doesn't feature said potential update for reference. The physical packaging includes partial interior artwork and four "cheat code" post cards (uncensored mode, intense flashlight, pixelated filter and noir filter). The respective "cheats" menu states these passwords can also be found within the game itself as DVD cases scattered across the map. It's also the opinion of this tester that A.I. generated content appears within the game that doesn't seem to be disclosed as of November 2025, per the Steam listing, particularly for the artwork illustrations related to the "cheat code" password cases and platinum trophy icon. Those pieces also appear on the physical packaging in the form of the post cards and the cover insert as well.
