Test Notes:
※ These observations were made in comparison with a video walk-through for v1.12 on PC (Steam). This title also features a meta-narrative approach to the game design so select technical shortcomings that could've been issues in most projects, such as going out-of-bounds or clipping environmental textures, are an intentional part of the presentation.
-- On the main menu, the cursor becomes misaligned after moving through any of the sub-menus. As a result, the player will have to estimate their next selection based on the number of possible choices. Longer text that can appear on certain topics, like loading an existing save, causing additional text to overlap the copyright notice / build information present in the bottom right corner of the screen.
-- In the car wash facility, half of both mitter curtains are misplaced with them floating part way out of the ground instead of hanging down like the other portion.
-- When moving through certain areas with the fading black transition (ex. Center Sanctuary), it's possible a second fade might happen even though the protagonist Nova has already loaded into the next location.
-- Fell through the map at least once when switching from vehicle mode back to human form while moving downhill in the "Outer Sands West" section. Since the game doesn't have any penalty for falling off levels in the 3D sections, the player is simply reset back to their initial location.
-- If the camera distance is manually bumped far back from the protagonist Nova in the 3D sections while moving over uneven terrain, specifically spots where the ground gets close to the camera itself, it's possible the view will clip or suddenly snap underneath the map for a brief moment.
-- Under select conversation text with NPCs, the "Press Triangle: Talk" prompt can remain visible. Thankfully, the dialogue boxes have a dark tint so it isn't too troublesome. On the other hand, the prompt also awkwardly appears during certain cut-scenes, such as when Palisades ventures away from "The Center" hub-world or the closing moments of the game, even in moments when dialogue isn't currently taking place or lacks any sort of player interactivity.
-- During the end credits, one name has another set of text overlapping it in a different font. An in-game sprite also partly overlaps another name during a particular list decorated with pixel images.
