This is the Japanese physical release that released a few years after the European and USA version.

This is the most up to date physical release you can get which includes the Grove Steet Games version.

Grove Street Games were tasked with fixing the horrendous original release on Switch and they eventually put out a far more reliable version.

However, it still suffers low FPS and big FPS drops on Switch 1.

The Switch 2 plays the game at a stable 30 FPS, making the game far more playable and enjoyable.

There is still pop-in due to the limitation of the original Switch and how the game was ported, but running this on Switch 2 has massively improved the experience.

We built a base, tamed some dinosaurs and flew around the map on one and the FPS drops that made it subpar on Switch 1 are now few and far between.

The only downside to this release now is that you require a Japanese account to buy the extra DLC maps.

The contents on cart includes only the original map called The Island, however, it provides hundreds of hours of content.

No major issues encountered beyond the reported issues.
