This is a premature build that is missing discoverable spots, plays out differently in certain areas and misses entire scenes in some cases. We encountered missing safes to rob, missing options when investigating, (partly) missing riddles, missing dialogue parts and whole cutscenes being skipped.. This leaves the player confused in between scenes, as certain things changed, but you won’t immediately know what happened and what to do next.
Further discovered bugs/issues:
During the investigation on the ship one of Monsieur Rozaine's voicelines plays twice in a row.
During chapter 3, when inspecting the lockers in the crew quarters the forged letter you are meant to place in there will already be in there before you actually place it. You will still have to do it later for the respective objective.
In the same chapter, you are supposed to put on two different disguises over the course of the story. The second one can only be put on if you interact with the hat before the jacket.
Once you’ve put on the disguise, you need to change it again after a brief interaction. Upon entering the crew quarters, you suddenly speak with the voice of your previous disguise.
While playing as Lupin during the robbery of the Baron, during a dialogue between the inspector and Lupin, a mirrored model of the inspector was displayed instead of Lupin. In another dialogue Lupin’s model was missing entirely.
Occasionally, the icons over objects you can interact with don't appear when hovering over them. On the other hand, in some instances they are highlighted permanently despite not going near to a certain interactable object.
During the prison escape, one of Ganimard's voice lines didn’t play.
During the same level, you will encounter a puzzle that involves turning six valves. The direction is hinted in the part before. Guides suggest looking at your notes, but the needed information is not present in the notebook in this build. You have to memorize the directions while playing the prior part of the game.
During the final portion of the game in Devanne’s storage room the description of an inspectable spot just reads “loading…” This is meant to be hair dye, but it will only read “loading” in all menus and dialogue bubbles.
During the last chapter, several dialogue parts during Lupin’s fireside chat were automatically skipped before the dialogue was finished.
