Tested by Community Report on Base PS5
The game received a "download required: Yes" for a game-breaking bug that can lock you out of completing the final boss fight.
Test Notes:
Glided bonus pack included as a code. 28 gigabytes in size.
Minor frame rate stutters happen pretty much all around throughout the whole game. Heavy frame rate drops do during combat sequences when a ton of enemies are on screen.
Subtitles often will not show up after you initially respawn from a death, but will resume afterwards by performing an action like using a vending machine. Subtitles don’t often display during combat as well.
Very rare instances of ammo count not showing up on the HUD after the Mud Mouth fight.
Several audio cut offs in the final act of the game.
After meeting Clap Trap for the first time, the Juvenile Mangler by the broken pier will glitch and float in the air as it loads in but corrects itself after.
Rhodes’s pathing at “Rush The Gate” makes him get stuck on the platform you first meet him at, but the mission still lets you progress when given the option to use R3 to grapple on the needed building.
At the end of “Rush The Gate”, during the conversation back at the HQ the game’s textures will glitch out for a small moment.
Along the way to Cuspid Climb, sometimes the birds would glitch into the ground and respawn, and the snow wouldn’t load fully on the road until you walked further along for it to do so.
In Karios past the “Propaganda Speaker”, the Badass Mangler will glitch out by running in place but then he will teleport down to where you are to then start attacking, but as we attacked him, he would, like some other enemy types, just teleport within the area until the final shots were given and he went down.
At one point when respawning in “Siege And Destroy”, Master Andersen got stuck behind a structure near the first catapult you go to for the objective, making him really easy for us to take down.
During the Mud Mouth boss fight in “Her Flaming Vision”, we came across several audio cuts and even an instance where the game froze for a few seconds.
In “Another Day, Another Universe”, the frame rate massively dropped after the ship crashed into the wall near the DAHL tower and entered it for the first time.
In “The Timekeeper’s Order”, as we made our way to the tower, the game froze requiring a restart.
Also In The Timekeeper’s Order, dying in the boss fight, fast traveling out, and then attempting to Reenter will not allow you to go back in. The Fast Travel point does not spawn on the map, and going the route you went along will be blocked about half way through so you can’t go and do the fight again. Patching while on the same save file doesn’t fix the issue. You need to restart the whole game again.
Content Completed:
Played on Easy as Vex up until the final boss fight in Performance mode
Small amounts of collectibles were picked up
Additional Notes:
Patching is strongly recommended for the Quality mode. Unpatched, it’s playable, but doesn’t run very well it all. From an early observation, the grass textures look all blurry, really heavy frame rate drops during combat, and it’s overall really unstable.
