Version 1.0.1.0 on disc. In-game build number 47286
42.7GB on disc.

Game plays from beginning to end without major issues. Weapons, Pictos, costumes, friendships, Lost Gestrals (one in a different location compared to updated build), White Nevron quests, and other unlockables/secrets on disc. Quick resume works.

Some bugs encountered throughout playthrough:

1) Infrequent texture and illumination pop in

2) Lighting artifact on the top and right of the screen in the Spring Meadows and Esquie’s Nest levels. Not intrusive.

3) After completing optional battles with Gestral merchants, the audio queue from the exp gain screen can loop endlessly after the battle ends and you go on your way. Starting a new battle or exiting the level fixes this immediately.

4) Deminerim weapon (for Lune) did not unlock when completing the Demineur side quest. Upon exiting the game and re-entering, the Demineur did not have the mine attached to the chain anymore, and the mine was not acquireable a second time. The dialogue when attempting to speak to the Demineur once again is as if it had the mine on the chain. Hence, it appears this side quest is bugged. The Deminerim weapon is later available for purchase in the Coastal Ruins, so the item is still accessible for the player, but this bug did affect my ability to get the 100 Color of Lumina at the end of the game for helping out all the white nevrons. We were not aware of the ability to load backup saves, so attempting to fix this by loading a previous save was not attempted, but it is recommended you try if you face this same issue.

5) Once, when purchasing a weapon from a merchant, the “item acquired” pop up displayed the weapon as being level 1 instead of its correct level. This was only a visual glitch; the weapon had its real attributes when we viewed the item in the character’s weapon menu.

6) On one occasion, a camera glitch occurred by doing the following: We exited a level and headed to the overworld, but the game did not save at any point before dying in a battle; the game sent us back to the previous checkpoint in the previous level as intended, BUT the in-game camera was stuck with the settings it had in the overworld (where we died). This can result in your camera appearing extremely bright or extremely dark if the illumination in the level varies drastically to the overworld. Curiously, quitting to the main menu or restarting the game did not fix this issue. We had to exit the level via Expedition flag or walking to the exit for the camera to reset and henceforth work as intended.

7) The game crashed once when running around Old Lumiere.

8) During the Paintress battle, when entering her second phase, my characters weren’t added to the turn queue, meaning only the paintress was attacking; obviously this means the battle was not winnable. We had to reload a save and battle her again successfully.

Overall, still a stable build of the game on disc, preserved for years to come.
