Version 1.01 included on disc.

Notes:
- Intro logos are extremely dark when the game is running in HDR
- Game exhibits some minor framerate issues which can become a bit worse during heavy combat. Dropping the resolution to 1080p on PS4 Pro mostly alleviates this however the patch mostly fixes the issue entirely
- Disc build has some fairly notable pop in issues, not only with textures, but also some models only displaying low detail versions, pieces of the terrain having noticeable gaps in them, and zombie sometimes only spawning very close to the player. While the patch greatly improves this issue, there is still some minor texture pop in and close zombie spawns even afterwards.
- The final cutscene is missing all sound effects, though the music and voice acting plays fine
- Experienced one time where the environment would turn completely black when looking at it from certain angles but it went away after exiting and re-entering the area
- Lost and found quests always displayed the quest objectives on screen each time the player entered another area even if they weren’t tracking them. This did not happen once the game was patched.
- Each time the player entered the lifeguard tower in Santa Monica, the conversation that’s supposed to only play when you meet the vendor there for the first time would play every single time the player entered the area.

Save files that were used with the patched version cannot be used in the disc build, though the game gives you a warning instead of immediately deleting the save.

To sum up, no issues were encountered that impacted gameplay or progression, though the PS4 version in particular has some issues related to asset streaming that are fairly noticeable. The PS5 version is preferable if you are able to play it on there.
