Game plays completely offline. All the acts, virtual files, content warnings, collectibles, etc are on disc. The only reason for the asterisk in No* for Download required is because the Series X Smart Delivery requires update, however, this update is not necessary to play the game to completion on both Xbox One and Series X.
No bugs encountered during playthrough. Flawless build.
