(*) Download required: Minor content missing or a lot of bugs present with a patch recommended (more details bellow)
Comments:

*The primary reason why the game receives a download recommended is not due to performance of the game but rather that some extra modes like local play between two Nintendo Switch 2s and support for the Kirby Air Riders amiibo is not supported on the cart build. More details found below.

Test Notes:

No bugs, glitches, errors or crashes occurred on this test.

The game runs at a locked 60 Frames Per Second.

Only exception were frame drops when battling against Hyper Gigantes in the Road Trip mode. However, that section is still very much playable.

Content Completed:

All of Air Ride tracks in the Regular Mode and Time Attack tested. 58 percent of Air Ride Challenges were unlocked.

All of Top Ride tracks in the Regular Mode and Time Attack tested. 47 percent of Top Ride Challenges were unlocked.

City Trial tested regularly and with all Field Events and all 16 Stadium Events tested. 54 percent of City Trial Challenges were unlocked.

100% completion for the entire Road Trip mode’s challenge checklist. Both regular ending on Normal and True Ending on Hard were achieved. To get the True Ending unlocked, all 22 regular vehicles have to be collected, so a minimum of two playthroughs is required.

All Characters and Vehicles unlocked.

Note: Dragoon, Hydra, Leo and Gigantes are used in City Trial upon gathering the pieces. Additionally, Dragoon, Hydra and Leo are usable only in the Free Run and Time Attack modes of Air Ride and Top Ride upon unlocking these vehicles.

Versus mode with 4 players tested and working on City Trial, Air Ride and Top Ride.

Additional Notes:

1.00 on the cartridge build.

Tested mostly in Handheld Mode.

Nintendo Switch Online Nintendo GameCube Controller is supported on the cart build.

The day one update adds the following modes:

- Online Play
- Local Wireless & LAN play (says that the latest update is required before it can be used)
- Swap Replay match format in Air Ride
- Team Battle match format in City Trial (Absent from the City Trial ruleset)
- Ability to save replays as video files
- Replay uploading
- Amiibo support (confirmed it’s for the Kirby Air Riders amiibo, the tested Kirby and Warp Star amiibo didn't do anything on the cart build, however the Super Smash Bros 4 and Kirby Series amiibo for the Kirby cast works and gives additional colors)
- Daily Air Ride & Limited Time Events
- Ability to set My Machines as private

The four main game modes are present on the cart build and were carefully tested. However, it was important to reveal what other modes and support did not make it to the card build of the game.

A special thank you to our Patreon Supporters for making this test possible.
