Version 1.2 included on cart. Not to be confused with the launch day version as that version only included a download code and no cartridge.

1.2 is the day one patch for the game, making this version a newer build than the other platforms.

Offline modes:
- Story
- Cup Series
- Race
- Minigame

All modes are playable solo or with 2 players in split-screen.

Game also supports local wireless play but it maxes out at only 2 players and the only modes you can play are Race and Cup Series, so split screen offers more functionality.

Unkie's Emporium (The microtransaction shop) requires internet to access, but all other progression works offline, including creating or editing cars in the garage

Switch version is a bit messy technically. Textures and LOD values are very noticeably worse than the other versions, and some of the in engine cutscenes can look pretty bad due to the low res textures making character faces look really bad. There is also some minor pop in between larger camera cuts. Framerate is mostly ok but does drop during moments when a lot of stuff is on screen. Framerate in split screen doesn’t seem to be much worse than single player.

The only issue encountered was the motion blur option doesn’t seem to do anything as the Switch version doesn’t have any motion blur at all.
