Life is Strange: Reunion

Test Notes:

• Observed many times the white lines around characters that were in the world go completely haywire
• Observed several instances where max’s body would just randomly disappear for a few seconds
• Observed an npc character float at the top of the screen and lose his head
• Observed countless amounts of flickering textures around the game world
• We ran into several soft locks that required a reboot to resolve. They ranged from losing control of max after using rewind powers in a conversation, to getting stuck on a screen observing items in the environment. In total, we had to reboot or restart a checkpoint nearly a dozen times.
• Observed many facial animation glitches. This ranged from low resolution to completely deforming the character
• The longer the play session, the worse the frame rate got. Rebooting the game temporarily kicked the frame rate back up.
• In addition to worsening frame rate, the longer the play session, the more often the various glitches started to happen. We did experiments with rebooting the game every couple of checkpoints, and that did seem to help mitigate the issues to an extent.
• Observed the subtitles, at times, freeze on the screen and fall behind, then after 10-20 seconds they rapidly catch back up.

Content Completed:

• Played through the main campaign one time. All collectible trophies were gotten on this playthrough. A platinum trophy requires a minimum of two playthroughs to obtain.
