Test Notes:

The whole game has a very rough unpolished, almost like unfinished feeling, but we didn't experience any game-breaking issues and there were no crashes throughout this playthrough.

Perfomance was stable with 60 FPS and there were no noticeable framedrops.

The game suffers from a very long list of issues tainting the experience, but the whole game can at least be played from start to finish.

- On the main menu the New game option is always on the top and Continue is right beneath it. It is very easy to press New Game instead of Continue, which could result to overwrite the ongoing progress with a new file.

-The game does not offer manual save and there is no option to select from existing save files or to set up different profiles. The game auto-saves, everytime Twinsen enters a new area. The Continue button from the menu will take the player to the last autosave. If you accidentally press New Game instead of Continue, close the game immediately (so the autosave won't be overwritten with a new game file) and restart the game. This way the active progress won't be lost as the game does not autosave until the cutscene ends.

-There are no subtitles in any of the cutscenes, They were added in a patch. During gameplay there are subtitles.

-The jump sound effect plays twice almost everytime.

-AI of the enemy NPCs sometimes stops working and the enemy NPC is just standing there waiting to be killed. Also sometimes NPCs have path following issues and can get stuck in the environment.

-When cleaning the water in the water tower, the water just disappears instead of turning into red. The patch fixes this issue.

-When traversing between locations using a vehicle, Twinsen disappears for a second and reappears. Only happens with certain vehicles.

-The animation for climbing ladders is very bugged, Twinsen is sometimes facing the opposite direction of the ladder or is place a little away from the ladder and this sometimes causes Twinsen to fall from the top of the ladder.

-Occasionally, Twinsen fell through the environment, causing a Game Over.

-Sometimes when Twinsen gets hit by an enemy NPC, he keeps moaning in pain. This should play when Twinsen is close to lose all his health, but this moaning effect can sometimes be heard even when Twinsen has plenty of life. Entering a new area or speaking to an NPC stops this sound.

-Using items from the inventory causes Twinsen to make a punch move. The player needs to be extra careful when using an item on an NPC. To use items like the jetpack/proto-pack, it requires several attempts to successfully wear it, as when selecting the item and pressing X to Use, Twinsen keeps punching and the jetpack is disappearing.
A workaround was found: Press roll (Circle on PS5) and quickly bring up the inventory (press the touchpad button) and select the jetpack. Twinsen will roll but will keep the jetpack on.

-On items pressing Triangle to Read does not function at all.

-On some places, the interaction prompt does not show, but works if the player knows what item needs to be used. Also sometimes the player needs to be on a very specific spot to activate a prompt.

-When going to the Rebel island without the flag on the boat, the rebels will keep shooting at Twinsen making his boat moves very slowly and takes a few mins before Twinsen returns to Hamalayi Range.

-Some subtitles don't match the spoken dialogue.

-Some dialogues don't have voice, just subtitle.

-Some NPCs are showing a dialogue prompt but they are not reacting. The patch fixes this and it only happens with optional NPCs, all mandatory NPCs are reacting.

-On a few occasions, the subtitle covers the whole screen (looks like a Windows window with an X on the top right corner):
this happened on Himalayi island speaking to the first NPC, then the same happened when Raymond the elf was released from the prison. Also happened when Funfrock captures Twinsen.

-When cleaning the water with the flute the video does not play just skips.

-When trading the flute for the guitar the video does not play just skips.

-Sometimes videos are not playing when traveling between islands.

-When selecting an island to travel to, sometimes the name of the island is not visible, but moving the cursor over the island, reveals the name of the island.

-No sound effect during the final bossfight against Dr Funfrock, only music.

To add to the above, these were all the bugs and issues happened to one playthrough, but it is very easy to believe, there are a lot more in other playthroughs. There are a few situations, where there are tricks to shortcut the game, they could cause game-breaking bugs according to some online reports. However playing the game in the intended way, you should be able to reach the end.
