Content Completed:
All Grand Prixs and Knockout Tours completed on 150cc and Mirror mode in first place. Not many issues encountered except for one notable instance. No bugs or crashes have occurred. All time trials have been tested to place a ghost on each track. Additionally the following Nintendo Ghosts were cleared:

• Nintendo Carlo (Using Bowser in Bowser’s Castle)
• Nintendo Hiromi (Using Koopa Troopa in Koopa Troopa Beach)
• Nintendo Elena (Using Baby Luigi in Mario Circuit)
• Nintendo Bowen (Using Shy Guy in DK Pass)
• Nintendo Sophia (Using Daisy in Shy Guy Bazaar)
• Nintendo Jeff (Using King Boo in Boo Cinema)
• Nintendo Rie (Using Rosalina in Starview Peak)
• Nintendo John (Using Toadette in Peach Stadium)
• Nintendo Susie (Using Baby Peach in Peach Beach)
• Nintendo Akira (Using Peach in Rainbow Road)

Tester Tip for Knockout Tour 150cc and Mirror Mode:

The tester highly recommends to use vehicles that deliver higher acceleration especially when getting damage from incoming items. The computers are also designed to catch up to the player quickly and are challenging to get First Place, so it is advised to practice the paths for each Knockout Tour and the tester used mostly the Pipe Frame Kart (Standard Kart based from Mario Kart 64) and the Standard Bike for the best results. The tester used Peach and Rosalina for this content completion so character choice is ultimately up to the player.

There has been multiple instances of information on how to unlock Mirror Mode. The tester has unlocked Mirror Mode with the following conditions at the time of the unlock:

• 40 challenges
• 11 Peach Coins
• 11 Question Mark Panels
• 2000 coins
• 150cc First Place on Grand Prix and Knockout Tour.
• Get First Place again on 150 cc Special Cup.
• Upon meeting these conditions, the tester was able to unlock Mirror Mode for use.

The Versus Mode was tested briefly in these instances using Easy Computers:

• 2 Players 100cc 3 races
• 4 Players Mirror Mode 3 races
• 2 Players and 4 Players Battle Mode (consisting of Balloon Mode and Coin Runners)

While playing on 2 Player Split Screen, the game keeps the 60 Frames Per Second. However, while playing in 3 or more players, the game will run at 30 Frames Per Second instead like in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch. This mode was tested with the following controllers:

• Nintendo Switch Joy Con
• Nintendo Switch Pro Controller
• Nintendo Switch 2 Joy Con 2

Issues:

While playing Knockout Tour, as the game was played on the 2nd section of one of the Knockout Tours, right after passing some regular cars, the game froze for a moment but went back to normal soon afterwards.

While playing in Salty Salty Speedway, a thin white line is visible while Lakitu is counting down for the Time Trial. This does not stay after the countdown, however.

Potentially intentional scenario:

In Versus Mode, there was an instance that some players that got behind got “finished” and were unable to play until the round was over. One instance saw the 3rd and 4th player being disqualified from racing.

While it will be rare to occur, it is best practice to make sure players do not fall too far behind to ensure continuation of playing the game in Versus Mode.

The game was mostly covered in Handheld Mode. The Local Multiplayer was covered in Docked Mode. The tester completed an additional 30 extra challenges, leading to 70 challenges completed at this time in Docked Mode on Free Roam.

Wireless Play cannot be covered at this time since another Nintendo Switch 2 is required for testing this feature.
