Only about 64mb of data is included on the disc. The only thing that can be seen if you boot the game without the update is a black screen with the message “You must connect to the internet to update Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024”

Even if you download the update, the game cannot be accessed offline. When trying to start the game offline you will simply just get a message saying “Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 requires a constant internet connection. Please check your connection status to continue”
