When we hid in a barrel by the river near the beginning of the game during our patched playthrough we were never discovered, unpatched however they discovered us in the same spot the moment they walked by. AI seems more aggressive unpatched.

Using sound mode takes up battery on your camera when unpatched.

And they removed an entire chase sequence after the chapel with unique dialog with the patches.

Overall beatable but more difficult than patched.
