Mikoto (First Playthrough)

Completed at Level 26 on Normal Difficulty. English Dub used for the Story. Played entirely at handheld mode.

Various slowdown encountered during this playthrough mostly at Stages 1-5. This is likely due to syncing shaders between the game and the Nintendo Switch.

The framerate drops significantly if there’s a lot of enemies and you use a fully charged orb attack (R button by default).

Stages 6 and 7 were mostly performing fine but we encountered an issue when the final boss was finished at the same time as the player was defeated. The game countes this as a player loss and was restarted at the last checkpoint.. No crashes or glitches happened from that point on and the boss was defeated on the second attempt.

The bonus stage was earned and completed by defeating Cocoa in time before the train leaves for access at the end of Stage 2.

Highly recommended to get the patch or play the game on a different platform due to common and huge framerate drops. No further bugs and crashes have occurred.

Itsuki (Story Playthrough 2)

Level 25 on Normal, English Dub, Handheld Mode.

Most of the framerate slowdown was reduced upon revisits of some stages. However, there was a slight slowdown for stages 4-6. The falling minigame still was significantly slower on performance, however.

The final boss was also much harder to take down and at random encounters, playable characters can show up as regular enemies.

Waka (Story Playthough 3)

Level 23 on Normal, Japanese Dub, Handheld Mode

Most of the performance issues and circumstances remained the same except there weren’t as many guest character appearances until the final stage. The final boss on that stage was still much harder to deal with unlike the first playthrough.

For one of the gates in stage 6, it took longer to load up the portal to enter the next level, but we were able to enter eventually.

Yuzuha (Final Story Playthough)

Level 24 on Normal Mode, Japanese Dub, Docked Mode.

Docked mode especially for the 1st couple of stages performed worse then in handheld mode, it wasn’t until stage 4 when it got decent but it wasn’t perfect in framerate at all.

Similar to the stage 2 minigame train section, if Cocoa is beaten in time, that is completed. Final boss was similar to the 2nd through 4th playthroughs, framerate tanked and a lot of enemies on screen.

Versus mode with one other idle player was tested and working with zero issues.
