Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution

Test Notes:

Performance is flawless, no problem or issue, except as mentioned below.

Pressing "crouch" + "attack" at the same time, when standing on the ground and not transformed triggers one of the following issue:

Crashes the game back to the Switch menu (30% of the time)

Or

Makes Shantae invisible, messes with the hitbox or movement in general (70% of the time). Moving to a new screen/area, taking a hit or leaving the game brings the game back to normal. Recovery is often easy, but can be hard in some locations.

The bug is easy to perform when trying to trigger it on purpose, but the timing is tricky enough that it doesn't trigger often during normal gameplay. The bug triggered only once during the whole playthrough and the tester was able to recover without any loss.

This bug can be fixed with a downloadable update.

Content Completed:

Completed the main game in story mode, with 85% completion, in 6:30 hours, without using a guide. Mostly in handheld mode with spot checks in docked mode.

Battle mode (multiplayer) not tested.

Additional Notes:

Because the game is originally a GBA release, it is the tester's opinion that it's more suitable for handheld mode than docked mode.
