-- Technical issues that were present in the original releases, such as slow-down / frame-rate drops (ex. intense on-screen activity during "Steam Heart's"), very briefly pauses during loading transitions or abrupt audio cut-offs, screen-tearing effects or pixelated resolution (ex. various cut-scenes during 'Story' mode for "Advanced V.G.") are likely retained in these altered ports. Despite extensive English support on the menu interfaces, the player will need to be familiar with both spoken and written Japanese language to entirely appreciate the storytelling and supplemental material.

-- During 'Stage 3' against its respective boss fight, a scripted black hole scene occurs part-way through the encounter. Players are supposed to use engine boosts to keep away from the automatic pull of the attack until the sequence concludes. In one attempt, this player used a 'smart bomb' power-up upon being pulled into the sphere which caused the in-game screen to freeze. Simply using the overhead 'rewind' function to revert back to a pre-recorded progression point avoided the issue.

Beaten on default settings with 'Normal' difficulty for "Steam Heart's" using the character Blondia "Blow" Varady and 'Normal' mode using the character Yuka Takeuchi for "Advance Variable Geo". All other selectable characters were at least briefly sampled to confirm accessibility without full individual play-throughs. 'Story' mode for "Advanced V.G." was partially tested with several fights without a full run as the console trophies heavily favor 'Normal' arcade mode. The aforementioned character for the game notably gets extra preference as a 'Gold' accolade is available for beating the experience with her over 'Silver' rewards for the remaining roster. All attempted trophies unlocked as necessary. Other game-play modes, such as 'Arcade' or 'Boss Rush' for "Steam Heart's", were untested for reference.

-- Significant content differences are present between this compilation and the original releases. All of the explicit erotic content has been scaled down due to in-game console restrictions in comparison with their initial "uncensored" versions on PC-98. Subsequently ports appear to increasing apply varying levels of editing, depending on the platform, as of mid-February 2026. Changes primarily concern the in-game cut-scenes with either redrawn sprites, extreme close-up shots, blacked out screens and potentially muffled sounds to dial back the questionable sequences.
