Comments:

This game recieved a yellow rating due to various bugs including visual and audio issues.

Test Notes:

  • - The game theoretically runs at 60 fps but will often dip to around 25 fps in some areas or go even lower. The framerate seems to get less consistent the longer the play session lasts.
  • - The Game Icon on the Xbox home screen is completely blank.
  • - The Title screen displays the date Mar-2021 followed by the build version in the top right.
  • - Some minor pop in observed.
  • - Two instances of seeing the interior of a wreckage load in during exploration.
  • - One instance of audio cutting itself off early.
  • - The headlights on the Seatruck lose their blend with the environment when exiting the vehicle.
  • - The headlights will also mess with the edges of transparency on geyser smoke.
  • - The headlights on the Seatruck shine through solid walls and will illuminate interiors that where meant to be dark when positioned right.
  • - A message on the left side of the screen will appear shortly after beginning each play session asking players to report bugs and give feedback to the developers.
  • - Storage lockers can be seen through the walls of your base from a distance.
  • - When exploring one of the abandoned above water bases the heart icon on the health bar would violently scale up and down for no apparent reason.
  • - Multiple stationary pipe looking objects with an ore deposit on it observed floating around the ocean.
  • - Some of the entrances of explorable underwater wreckages will render as black squares far into the distance, giving away their locations and where to enter them from.
  • - The Rock Puncher enemies are more often than not broken in this build. We've Encountered them stuck in place, in walls, in ceilings and in the middle of the air with broken AI.
  • - Indoor base doors will un-render when getting up close at certain angles.
  • - Quickly ascending to the surface with a vehicle causes the drifting ice plates to render just before crashing into them.
  • - After obtaining the Seatruck upgrades the text "Crush Depth now (amount) meters" would be displayed in the centre of the load screen.
  • - Discovered chunks of ore that where floating in place and where not able to be picked up.
  • - Had one instance occur where a snow stalker would remain T-posed after killing it.
  • - Another time killing a snow stalker caused it to fall through the floor.
  • - Experienced lighting loading in late after using a portal to teleport.
  • - Parking the Prawn suit in the moonpool will cause the player's position to freak out for a moment.
  • Story Spoilers:
  • - During our first trip to the lower levels the Shadow Leviathan spawned in right in front of us causing us to bump into them and getting grabbed by them shortly after.
  • - One time Marguerite would speak but no audio was present.
  • - Experienced a moment where the Giant Ice Worm would disappear through the floor Infront of us without doing its digging animation.
  • - Exiting out of a vehicle in the right corner of the final red crystal cave area will result in the swimming mechanic no longer working. The game will treat the area like it's above water meaning you will be walking and jumping on the seabed.
  • - Shortly after getting Al-An out of Robin's head and into a new body we got a conversation between Robin and Al-An talking about how they should proceed with the plan to get Al-An out of Robin's head and into a new body.
  • - During the Ending sequence the platform Al-An was standing on disappeared and re-appeared when looking at it from certain angles.
