Main story beaten.
Majority of all stunt jumps completed.
5/20 artifacts found and 3/10 secret cars found along the way.
One time trial was also tested and completed.
Overall verdict:
Decent enough build despite the very apparent lack of polish.
Test Notes:
Shortly after the tutorial, during a dialogue at the precinct, two side characters didn’t have voice over for their brief lines.
After submitting evidence, the window shows the wrong button prompt to continue (triangle instead of X).
AI has various issues. Sometimes pathfinding seems especially stupid, as suspects and allies can run into walls and get stuck behind fences. Companion AI can often get in the way during fights, sometimes leading to accidentally shooting your partner and failing a patrol.
In certain missions, you have to chase after two different targets. Depending on the force you are allowed to use, these can be impossible to complete 100 % as one target can sometimes easily get away while you are busy with the other one.
Despite properly chasing a suspect, we lost the mission as the person simply despawned behind a corner and the game registered this as a successful getaway.
In another instance a suspect was registered as a getaway, despite a ground trooper arresting him while we were hovering above the scene with the helicopter.
The game sometimes does not save your loadout. If you choose a certain weapon, it will only be in your inventory for that mission. Starting the next mission, you will have to configure your equipment at the armory or your car again. In another case, your equipment remained the same throughout several patrols.
Certain parking fines are not registered correctly on occasion. Despite the car standing on the crosswalk, it didn’t count as “too close to the intersection”.
When suspects resist arrest, it seems random when it also counts as an attack towards the player as a bookable offense.
Occasional frame drops and pop-in, yet rarely severe.
Encountered three crashes, all during helicopter missions.
