Test Notes:
※ Physical packaging includes a game manual.

-- Technical issues that were present in the original releases, such as slowdown / framerate drops, are likely retained in these altered ports.

-- Most titles seem to boot up using the Japanese region as their default version. In order to use the English version, along with any other regional variant when applicable, the player will need to access the 'DIP Switch' section under 'Options' using the pause menu to make the desired selection. Highly recommended to make the adjustment as soon as possible since making the change forces any in-progress session to be lost due to an automatic game reset.

-- Based on remarks from enthusiast forums, it's highly possible that multiple trophies for "Hellfire," "Vimana" and "Zero Wing" are broken for their respective playthroughs without using any type of assist options. If so, the related stat trophy "Shut Them Up," for beating all bosses and stages across the entire collection without assists, and ultimately the platinum trophy can't be achieved. As a side note for obtaining most trophies, using any type of modern retro feature, such as rewind, slow motion or even loading saves, beyond the ability to fast-forward negates progress toward beating any bosses or stages without assist options. Keeping track through the 'Stats' section of the pause menu is essential for ensuring counts are still being logged as necessary. In-game difficulty can be dialed down under the 'DIP Switch' section, which again resets current play session, along with disabling various features by shifting to 'Arcade' mode in the 'Assist' menu under pause.

-- Still holding down auto-fire after using all credits in some games can accidentally cause the player to speed through the continue timer which ends the current session. It's recommended to be mindful of the credit count in order to let go of the button before the timer appears on-screen to maintain current progress. Otherwise, the player will have to accept starting a whole new game if it times out when seeking to unlock the game's respective trophy without assist features.

Content Completed:
-- Completely playable offline with no download required. Various settings beyond the default choices were utilized across the collection. Most titles were finished under "USA" region with assist features disabled in 'Arcade' mode while often using their pre-selected character options. All attempted trophies unlocked as necessary although multiple of them might be broken which renders the platinum trophy unattainable (see "Test Notes" above). Any type of multiplayer components or alternate region variants were untested for reference.
