Test Notes:

This game is mostly multiplayer focused, however Situations mode (small campaign mode located in “Learning Area”) and Training Grounds (PVE mode, formerly known as Terrorist Hunt) are playable offline.

It is possible to earn all Stars in Situations offline, but full 100% completion is not possible due to the “Article 5” portion being co-op only and not being playable offline.

When playing Terrorist Hunt, maps and modes are picked at random, however you can adjust which maps and modes the game picks by going to “Matchmaking Preferences” in the options menu.

Includes a slightly unfinished build of Operation Neon Dawn on disc. Aruni, the operator introduced in Neon Dawn, is included on disc, however the Skyscraper map is completely missing, likely because the map rework for Neon Dawn wasn’t completed yet at the time the disc build was made. The title screen and main menu still display the operation as “Shadow Legacy” (the previous operation), but content wise it is closer to Neon Dawn. The update that rebranded the game to “Siege X” is not included on disc.

All operators, weapons, and attachments from years 1-5 are included on disc and can all be accessed offline. Most maps from years 1-5 are included on disc as well, with the only exception being the Skyscraper map.

It is not possible to earn XP or Renown offline, however any gameplay-affecting content is already unlocked from the start when playing offline anyway.

Despite the game having support for LAN multiplayer, it is not accessible unless you are connected to Ubisoft servers, making it useless for offline play.

Issues Encountered:
- The main menu background seems to be a bit unfinished in the disc build. The background color will change suddenly with no animations, and changing tabs will sometimes cause Aruni’s walk animation to play extremely fast.

- When adjusting matchmaking preferences in the disc build, all of the map options below “Favela” seem to be broken and will instead set the map above whatever option you picked.

- The voice in the tutorial videos seems to be off sync, as some lines do not fit with what is being shown on screen.

Content Completed:
- All single player Situations completed
- Played at least on Terrorist Hunt match on every included map.

Additional Notes:
- The box includes a download code for 16 additional operators and instant unlock of competitive play, however this code does not affect any offline content as all operators are unlocked when playing offline.

- While the “Siege X” update requires a download, the update also removes most of the game’s offline content, including all of Situations and Terrorist Hunt, so it is highly recommended to stay on the disc build if you wish to play offline.
