- Speed Run
- Single Session
- Local Multiplayer (2P)
- Create A Park

Notes:
- If you complete a challenge while the game is installing, the “Installation Complete” message will never appear but this is purely a visual bug.

- The unpatched version of the game instructs you to do a 5-0 Overturn in the tutorial by default instead of a 900 like the patched version does, however any special trick will work.

- The reward for completing the tutorial is still in the disc build but is harder to find in the skate shop. The patched version makes it easier to find.

- When playing on a PS4 Pro set to 4K, there is a very thin (maybe single pixel tall) black line that goes across the main menu but this is very small and hard to see. It is also completely invisible when playing at 1080p.

- The patch changes the look of a few UI elements like the challenge area in the hub tab.

- The patch adds some additional challenges and cosmetic items to buy.

- Skate Tour progress is shared between all skaters in the disc build. A post launch update added an option to allow each skater to have their own Skate Tour progress

- When you unlock a new level in the unpatched version, it doesn’t tell you what level you unlocked. This was changed in the update.

- The stat points in THPS2 use the same model as the stat points in THPS1. The patch adds a unique model for 2.

- Some XP challenges are for the online multiplayer mode and cannot be completed offline.

- The animation for the 540 flip in the unpatched version doesn’t actually do a flip. This was adjusted in the update. There are also a few other trick animation inaccuracies but most of them are still present in the update

- The school bells in both of the school maps have a less visible light source around them in the unpatched version, making them harder to see.

- When playing the game at 4K, the text on the loading screen for Create-A-Park flickers. This does not happen with the console resolution set to 1080p.
