No patches available at the time of testing (Jan. 2024).
Two games are available. Trip World and Trip World DX. One plays in the original GameBoy color (Green/Black) and the other plays in full color. Both games are exactly the same in terms of level design, gameplay, etc, with the exception of the colors.
Completed both versions for this test. No issues found with the games themselves.
Multiple options are available when playing the games, such as selecting different borders, changing screen size, changing to a DOT Matrix filter, and viewing an in-game map.
There are also extra menus, such as the museums and music player. You can view things such as game artwork, manuals, miscellaneous documents, and other items that are scanned in for viewing. Scanned in-game manuals are only presented for the EUR and JPN regions and are not presented in English. Although, the physical game comes with a physical manual that is in English.
Accessibility options: Rewind feature is supported. Save states are also supported.
Difficulty options: None
Languages: English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. Interviews of the game creator are also included, and these are spoken in his native language, which I believe to be Japanese. Subtitles appear in the language selected.
