Completely playable offline with exception to online-oriented modes, such as "MyFaction".

Tested "2K Showcase of the Immortals," "MyRise: Undisputed" & multiple hours of "MyGM" for reference.

While all of the offline components are available on hard copy, there's a big caveat with online accessibility. The updates have been marked as "mandatory" by the development teams so, anytime your system connects to the internet & detects a patch, you will be locked out of game until either the completion of the download or uninstalling / installing the game data every single time to avoid forced connectivity.

** Also, please note that any offline progression in single-player modes will be erased once an update has been applied since it renders the save data as "incompatible" with the new fixes. Learned this the hard way after doing both 'Showcase' / 'MyRise' & had to grit teeth through the WrestleMania matches all over again to obtain the respective arena / roster unlocks.
-- Vince McMahon as a manager & several playable variants of Brock Lesnar are present on the main roster of the disc build. The latter wrestler can also be selected during the 'Showcase' fantasy rumble finale. Those two individuals were removed in patches due to the January 2024 sexual allegations brought against them at the time of this posting (April 2024). Version 1.05+ patch work move a step further with blocking all unlockable assets tied to those figures to prevent direct replications via CAW.
-- No ring announcer & match commentary audio.
-- Inconsistent censorship through the 'Showcase' cutscenes (ex. referee faces in archival footage, original WWF logos, etcetera). Host Corey Graves does not talk over the real-life bits that trigger during the optional mid-match recreation tasks.
-- Unbalanced difficulty as the default settings allow for the COM opponent to be highly prone to executing reversals on top of razor thin / missing button prompts for the user.
-- Occasional reappearance of glitches found in previous incarnations of the series (although it does seems to be more polished than WWE 2K23 directly out of the box with regard to bugs). Examples include oddball collision detection with ring ropes / limbs, missing championship belts in post-match celebrations, etcetera.
-- Creating a detailed character at the start of 'MyRise' modes has an increased potential to crash the game. Selecting a default appearance & simply editing it afterward appears to navigate around the issue.
