Test Notes:
Disc build is very good. Some relatively inconsequential bugs encountered:

• In Tribalstack Tropics, when using sonar on the invisible platform near Sir Scoffsalot, the game crashes whenever you jump onto the platform if you aren’t in the torn pagie quest AND you start Scoffsalot’s quest to find his knights. This platform is only relevant for reaching the torn pagie, so the player simply has to start the pagie quest before Scoffsalot’s. When the game crashes, the quests are reset, so you can always restart the quests if necessary.

• In Glitterglaze Glacier, once you solve Tubbz’s bubble problem and get the pagie, if you get back into the bubble bath, there’s a chance Tubbz’s speech bubble will repeat (despite you having solved it), except this time the speech bubble stays on screen permanently without a button prompt to close it. If you attempt to speak to other characters, their dialogue will not show up. You are also prevented from warping to marks because the player is considered to be “in a challenge” while this speech bubble stuck on screen. This problem was solved by going to Dr Puzz’s transformation pad; the text bubble for transformation overwrites Tubbz’s. You can probably exit to main menu to solve this, too.

• In Moodymaze Marsh, in the puzzle with the aquatic ball wall, if you activate a button after acquiring both pagies, there is a chance the button will stay pressed down indefinitely and the bubbly sound effect will persist even if you leave the area. To fix this, we exited and re-entered the area, stepped on the pressed down button and, upon jumping away, it successfully disabled the device.

• In Capital Cashino, when completing Roll Jupp’s gliding minigame for the first time, the game went through the usual black screen transition before taking us to the rewards dialogue. However, the game stayed in this black screen indefinitely; We could hear the level music, but no input whatsoever (not even pause) worked. In order to fix this, we had to quit the app on the Xbox home. Upon booting the game up, we realized that our completion of this minigame was not saved, so we had to do it again. When completing it a second time, the bug did not reoccur.

• In Galleon Galaxy, inside the sewer section for unclogging the porta-potty, if you fly under the platform where you’d push the pipe by rolling it down into place, near the ceiling you’ll start swimming in midair as if the character was underwater. Presumably, the water’s bounding box on top of the platform clips through and catches Yooka when flying through that area. Since Yooka collides with the ceiling, there’s no way to get out and Yooka will inevitably drown. Fortunately, the checkpoint is right before you reach this area, so barely any progress is lost if you get caught here.
