Comments:

Game can be beaten with any of the three ending variants in the absence of additional updates. Platinum trophy also obtainable. Outside of
manageable frame-rate drops while passing through certain areas or boss encounters, along with glitched textures around three areas,
no crashes occurred throughout a single playthrough that culminated approx. 150 hours.
Patches do change a lot of things including item locations, music, and more.
Some minor details are also added in the patch such as extra messages and tutorials.
Please note the disc build does suffer from a significant shuffling of finer details in comparison to the post-launch details, such as:

-- Broken side-quests* (ex. Kenneth + Nepheli + Gostoc, Diallos + Jar-Bairn, Thops [never found second academy key on the chandelier]
+ Boggart [never moved to Capital pond unless specific summon point was essential], etcetera). However,
it is possible that a second key for Thops' quest might still be hidden somewhere within the late-game areas from the Capital onward.

-- Renamed elements (inventory items [ex. "Comet Azur" has a different name],
locations (ex. "Doomed Farum Azula" --> "Crumbling Farum Azula"),
spirit ashes (ex. "Black Knight Tichy" --> "Tiche"),
trophies [ex. "Stellar Century" --> "Age of the Stars"], etcetera)

-- Item mistranslations (ex. Fia --> "Phia" for one key item), different descriptions (ex. Rya letter for Volcano Manor)
and/or slightly alternate subtitles vs. spoken voice over audio

-- Altered environmental details (ex. ~20+ strangely empty chests or environmental spots,
swapped item locations [ex. two sacred seals are absent from early-game stone key gates based on patched guides],
adjusted underground fire pillar placements, at least one missing site of grace, etcetera).

-- Miscellaneous oddities: An exploit that allows you to reach Farum Azula without triggering a significant story event.
Volcano Manor quests never leave a marker on your map. A wall in the Capital that instantly kills you upon attacking it.
Also, the side-quest for Millicent + Gowry can technically be completed, but with a notable lack of polish on part of the developers.
