The game forces you to listen to a brief sound sample everytime before you can switch to the next commentator/pit crew team in the options menu, which is pretty annoying.

Sound mixing issues. EA logo, intro and cutscenes are very quiet.

The first race of "Braking Point" takes place in Abu Dhabi. After the race the monitors of your pit crew display the map of Monaco, though.
After the Melbourne race we are shown as the winner in the cutscene, but according to the race UI we were only 4th.
In a follow-up email after the race, your team lead congratulates to being on the podium, which we weren't.
The driving assistants can cause you to leave the track in rare occasions. If you slightly miss the racing line and go wide, the breaking assistant can take over in the wrong moment and cause even more understeer, leading to you exceeding track limits.
The steering assistant can also get in the way of returning to the racing line, when it forces you to return at a suboptimal angle.
Noticed major stutters/framedrops as well as screen tearing during some cutscenes in story mode.
Noticed major shadow pop-in during some pre-race cutscenes showing the grid.
The steering/braking assistant can force you to pit even if you don't want to. This is especially problematic on tracks like Spa, where the raceline and pit entry line are close to each other. You basically have no chance to stay on track in some instances.
During the second season while racing in Spa your put crew will inform you about expected rain and suggests putting on rain tyres, it is not apparent that they talk about Intermediates. If you take their advice literally, you'll end up with the inferior tyre choice.
The AI is generally bad when you overtake. Even if you overtake in the cleanest way, they might still turn into you or bump into your rear, despite them usually braking way earlier in every corner than you do as long as you are behind them.
The storytelling in "Braking Point" feels rushed in several stages, as the story suggests several meetings and discussions happening, but you don't get to actually see those scenes. The ending can feel a bit anticlimactic as a result. Patches add a few more messages to the epilog, so it looks like they didn't get all story elements ready for the disc build.
